Pomegranate has created puzzles from many of the works of art by the American artist Charley Harper. Harper lived from 1922-2007 and used simple geometric shapes, patterns, and vivid colors in his work, a style he defined as “minimal realism”. Harper studied each creature that he painted so he could simplify the form to fit his artistic style while still capturing the personality of each creature. Biodiversity in the Burbs features a couple dozen of Harper’s whimsical, delightful creatures.
