The accordion folded handmade Ikat lokta rosette is printed on lokta paper is made in Nepal with ancient traditional processes including harvesting bark of the Daphne plant while it remains alive. The plant re-grows the bark year after year, so the process is remains sustainable. A Nepalese woman’s cooperative uses the Lokta paper to cut and fold into the rosette.
